Finding Good People, Good Jobs; Finding Good Companies, Good Employees
With many families across Norwalk struggling financially, the need for subsidized training programs to develop or enhance employment opportunities is more important than ever. Subsidized training allows potential employees to upgrade or acquire the skills necessary to either advance or seek employment.
Scheduled to start in fall 2016, CCDC’s job training and employment program provides hands-on, competency-based training to enhance life skills and academic achievement. This program has been designed in partnership with the retail business and food service sectors and includes classroom and practical modules.
Employers will, therefore, have real solutions to their recruiting and staffing dilemmas as we will help you fulfill part-time, full-time, temporary or permanent staffing needs from our cadre of well-trained graduates.
Upon the completion of the program our graduates will qualify for employment as:
Retail Sales Associate
Customer Service Representative
The true success of the program will ultimately be measured by our graduates’ achievement in the workplace. Their competency and personal qualities will make them ideal employees contributing strongly to their families, employers and community.
